  • Summary of our stay, checking out on 10-22-17. The resort staff were very friendly and went out of their way to meet our expectations. The food, although good, the wait time to get it, was extremely long. One word sums up the rooms-gross. The rooms need updates and repairs but we did not go to the hotel to stay in the room, we went to hang out at the beach and swim in the pools, which incidentally were updated and very nice. Overall I was pleased!

  • Rooms were ok. Hallways could have been up kept a bit better, I know it was off season so it wasn't a big deal. The "indoor" water park is not as "indoor" as described. It was very cold and breezy getting to the slides. I think this should be fixed. All in Al nice little stay for the family.

  • Why only one star, my wife, family, friends and I talked about this review for a while before I decided to post it. Please understand the hotel was super fun for all and very clean that was not the problem the room was. We booked the penthouse yesterday November 11/2017 the hotel was nice, pools great and staff super nice but for the money we paid for the penthouse suite for the night, we had some problems that I will list below. 1.) the ice maker does not work, i was told this by the staff who walked us to the penthouse. If you know it does not work why not fix it? Oh then when we checked out I told the woman at the desk and she tells me yeah we know about it. Why rent out the room before you fix it. 2.) it is November and it’s cold, my wife and I like to have the fireplace on. I called and maintenance came up. They told me wow we don’t know how to put this on it has not been used in 9 years and most people just use the climate controlled room system. Ok if you are booking this room for $350+ a night everything should be working right? Wait there is more read on. 3.) the light switches only half of them where working. 4.) the really nice tub with nice glass shower yeah not so nice, the button to turn it on is broken and you have to put your finger in the hole with the wires while sitting in a tub of water. Not good 5.) the toilets in the master bedroom, both where not working right and the bidet did not work at all! 6.) some of the sliding doors would not open or where very hard to open. 7.) the shower in the master bedroom valves where not working right, we had to play with it to turn it on. 8.) there is a trash compactor in the kitchen but all the controls are ripped out. There was some other problems with the room but I think you get the point I am making. Yes the hotel is really nice and lots of fun. But before you spend $$$$ on the penthouse suite you may want to make sure they fix the problems with the room and the funny thing is when I checked in the woman told me the penthouse was just completely renovated. That was a 100% lie

  • Lots of water activities and game room. Food expensive, but good. Nice place for conferences, hotel with ocean front rooms, and conference center just across street. Easy walking to several amenities but maybe more difficult to get around for older or disabled persons. Some elevators not working when we were there, so often had to wait for elevator. Property could use some more maintenance on small items like bathroom fixtures and doors, elevators, windows, but nice updated tile flooring in our room.

  • We have our wedding booked here for November. We have tried for 3 months to get a hold of anyone!! Then they want to charge $20 MORE per room than the compass cove next door! They have over $24 in fees! And parking fees! Absolutely ridiculous! Our wedding is on a Thursday in the off season! Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere for your event or even to just stay!
