We had an ocean facing room. The perfect weather and water temperature added to our positive experience. The pools under the resort were well-maintained. Kids (as well as adults) enjoyed the water slide in the pool area. The only negative was that the room service was slow and inconsistent. We had to call them a few times to have fresh towels delivered. That said, I would visit this resort again.
I wish there was a negative star for this place. The staff is rude as can be they messed up our reservation and tried to "upgrade" us and charge more money. They gave us a room that was bigger but it was not without a hassle. Along with us agreeing to the so called UPGRADE we were trying to relax after a long drive and all the issues checking in sitting in the living room area a ROACH ran up the wall above my daughters head. I immediately called the front desk and told them the gentleman Chris informed me there is nothing they can do...I was on watch and went about our night getting ready for bed but again another one ran across my foot. After that I was done I killed it and put it in a sandwich bag and showed it to the manager Tim in the AM. We got a new room which we booked a two bedroom condo for 3 people and two kids and we were put in a room with two beds next to each other. I'm sorry this is not what I booked and was told making reservations so yet again went to talk to Tim and was informed they DON'T have two bedroom condos?!?! Why was I here? I was lied to and spending good money for something they didn't have. Needless to say we checked out and went to another hotel that gave us great service and had the two bedroom condos that we needed. Also we had left my daughters sound soother in the room and I called as soon as I realized because she can't sleep without it. Room service never called me back I talked to multiple employees none of which relay the messages to each other. They wouldn't let me get it back be cause someone else was in the room and not even the manager could retrieve it although I told them exactly where and what it looked like. I had to wait the whole week for the people to check out and hopefully they didn't take it with them. They treated me like I was lying and just wanting to steal others belongings, I even said I don't want to go in the room just get it for me. Please don't waste your time and money on this place along with your time!!!
We stayed here in an oceanfront 3 bedroom condo for 1 week. Disappointed is an understatement. First off, we arrived at 5ish and was told we'd have to wait for our room to be inspected. We were told we'd have 2 parking spaces since we had 3 bedrooms. There was zero parking on our floor. We had to go 2 floors up. Every night we returned from dinner was a fight to find parking The elevators were extremely slow. The condo itself was FILTHY. The furniture was old and stained up. The couches were so gross we covered them with spare sheets. The beds had sand in them as soon as we sat down. It couldn't have been from us. The beds made us all sore. Hard as a rock 😠 It made the trip we had looked so forward to less enjoyable. The pool facilities were okay. The 2, 9, and 12 year old boys enjoyed them. The chlorine smelled strongly and they were run down like everything else. They had a Starbucks attached to the building, which was nice. The hotel restaurant there was decent too. I will not return. I strongly suggest finding some where else to stay. It was a huge let down, especially for the cost.
They didn't give us the room we requested when we had it reserved in advance. Gave the higher floors to someone else, we had to get more towels and sheets for ourselves because the room had none. Oh and the maids are rude. One stared at me and wouldn't bring me towels until he got to us and the other maids gave me a dirty look in the elevator when I was trying to get to my room. The parking is convenient and I love the Starbucks inside. That's it.
The rooms were less than acceptable when it comes to cleanliness. The floors were filthy and I never saw the cleaning crew with a vacuum cleaner, which probably explains why there was sand all in the carpet and we had to wear our flip flops at all times in the room. They give everyone an armband when they check in so that they know that you are authorized to be at the pools but it was never enforced. There are always people from the beach coming into the pool area. The one child pool in particular seemed to be a cleansing pool for those who had been on the beach and were sandy. I will never stay here again.
