  • We stayed at the campground and loved it. It is one of my favorites so far. Level without cement. Asphalt roads in campground. Really did have clean bathroom. Hot shower. Camp store. Laundry. Very nice natural setting. Not squeezed in. Beach is an easy walk. Pier for fishing. The one downside is it is over the Myrtle Beach airport flight path. It isn't a busy airport so planes are not flying overhead all day long. They seemed busier in the morning and evening.

  • We camp here every year for Thanksgiving every since I was a little boy. Its our family tradition. We love the park and you don't feel like your at the beach. Awesome place we love it always have......

  • We love this campground. There will be jet noise from the airport. And they all but fly over you on the beach. It is NOT bad at all. The park is clean and there is security riding around. We will visit again.

  • So here is my 2 cents....near airport...planes, planes and more planes!!! From what I could tell most workers are actually volunteers. Bathrooms were not cleaned well. We had 2 good size tents and 2 automobiles on our site so it was spacious enough for our needs. No alcohol was a bit of a bummer but they probably wouldn't bother you unless you were rowdy or left a mess. The one lane in was not too bad when we went but I can see it being troublesome when its a busy time. The beach area was nice. The pier was nice. I wish the pier was open at night. We will more than likely visit Huntington Beach next time.

  • If you like camping in a forest yet being only a short walk from the beach, then this is the right camping for you. Beautiful park with secluded and large campsites, a camp store, bike and walking trails. Most sites have water and electricity. Hook-ups available too. Been coming since I was a baby and now I m in my fifties. Bring your mosquito repellent and citronella candles.
