  • I love this tour! Tour guide is very informative and you learn a lot of history of Georgetown SC. Once you get to North Island for the shelling and it is so beautiful and the kind of shells you find is amazing! I'm a Rover Repeater... this last time was my third trip and I'm planning to come to Myrtle Beach next year and I'll definitely be Rover Repeater #4!

  • While on North Island with another tour group, word came that there was a man alone and in distress, stranded on the island. The Captain of our boat stayed while we searched (we volunteered to help) then our crew stayed behind while our captain returned us to the dock. He then took his private boat back to continue the search. The Captain of of the Carolina Rover said he didn't have time to search. He left. Just think, if you missed your return boat (who was the captain who didn't make sure everyone was accounted for?) and night and high tide were coming. What a heartless captain and crew!

  • Great trip. Enjoyed the history lesson, the light house and barrier Island shells. Our host were very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed it Would love to go again sometime soon!!

  • Great adventure. Staff very friendly!!! Guide very knowledgeable. Found shells , saw a bald eagle, dolphins great time.

  • Judd and the Captain were great! Boat ride was fun for the kids (12 & 3) and informational for the adults (Judd told the history of land and waters). Beautiful island, shelling is hit or miss but still a great family outing!
