Brindavan Gardens - Review

This 70 year old garden receives over two million visitors every year. It’s design and layout took inspiration from the Mughal Style Shalimar Gardens in Kashmir. Although it does not offer anything unique when compared to other gardens around the orld, it’s still well maintained and serene. The music fountain show in the evening is fun. They light up the garden at 7:00 pm and it looks prettier than ever.

Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Reviews

  • A very beautiful and close to mother nature experience. Surrounded by various lush green trees, plants and bushes along with different kind of beautiful flowers. On top of that different kind of fountains and waterfalls are also there which are really a treat to the visitors, specially kids. Food stalls are also available inside, so eatery should not be a problem. And in the evening from 7pm to 9pm there will be a musical fountain show which you can enjoy, seating facility is available but are very limited so it's like first come first serve. Restrooms are also available. Nevertheless it's a perfect getaway spot for everyone.

  • Had been to this on a weekday to spend some quality time with family. As it was a weekday the place was not crowded. We spent time in the garden which looks old but very well maintained. Lush green grass on one side and the sound of water on the other is memory to cherish. The musical fountain starts from 5pm which is a major tourist spot. This is one of the go-to places in Mysore and a lifetime experience with loved ones. Cheers!

  • Unfortunately we went in the day time around 11. Very hot but still enjoyed the beauty of the garden. Its really a big one. You don't even imagine you already covered a km seeing the surrounding beauty. There are two parts of the garden joint by a bridge of around .5 km. Under the bridge there is a small lake where you can enjoy boating.Night lighting show will be there which is really amazing. For food lovers, there are number of food stall that will open in the evening. Please try visiting in the evening time as boating, stalls and lighting show will start in late evening only. Paid parking facilities is also available.Really good for natures lover.

  • Awesome place to visit, good view with dam on one side, lots of flowers and plants, water flow over and illuminating lights which is interesting to see with musical fountains. Well maintained atmosphere which suitable for all generations. A must visit place in Mysore. Easy to reach. Nice parking facility that’s accommodates plenty of cars and vehicles.

  • Avoid going to this place on weekends ..there will be huge number of people.. With less number of people place is a bliss.. fountain waters are pretty dirty ..but they look beautiful from far and after dusk with the lighting and all.. Best for family outing ..and not the place for adventurers.. Huge parking space available for car and bikes(not on a weekend) ..somewhat clean toilets are also there.. You can visit this place at all in monsoon though ..When KRS is opened..good time pass place if you want to pass time with your loved ones ..(don't do any nuisance there are security and security cameras)
