Brindavan Gardens - Review

This 70 year old garden receives over two million visitors every year. It’s design and layout took inspiration from the Mughal Style Shalimar Gardens in Kashmir. Although it does not offer anything unique when compared to other gardens around the orld, it’s still well maintained and serene. The music fountain show in the evening is fun. They light up the garden at 7:00 pm and it looks prettier than ever.

Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Reviews

  • Quite good and clean place. Has heavenly views specially after rain. One can have special family picnic time here. Security allows you to sit , eat, relax and enjoy as long as you are not making ambience dirty. Co operating public visits. Nice to click lots of pictures. Perfect to come and have peace away from hectic city routine.

  • Place is really good. A place where you can spend time with your friends... Not only with your friends you can even go with your family... Every Saturday and Sunday there a water show, starts around 7:00 PM(probably) don't remember the exact time. There's an entertainment fee. But pls take the tickets, when you are paying for the ticket. Because many times if the rush is less they are not giving the thickets but they are taking money. I have experienced it once, so i will suggest you to take tickets if you are paying for it. You can do even boating as there a place given for boating and its in the starting of the garden itself. But the area provided for boating is quite less. I'll say it's a nice place to spend some time, with your loved one. Visit and enjoy your day.

  • The lush green gardens just beside the dam, water flowing and beautiful flora amazes everyone. Best place to relax and chill. Come with your family, friends, lover anyone. There are canteens inside and outside the garden. Well maintained parking is also there. Entry fees just ₹20 per person. Awesome aquarium on the left with entry fee ₹5 had colourful fish.

  • A good place with beautiful scenery and artificial water falls with a beautiful garden one of the best place to visit if you go to Mysore. You can find lot of parking and the vehicle entrance is 15 rupees and there will be entrance ticket of rupees 10 per head . It's good to visit early in the morning before 11 or evening after 4 because the climate gets cool and you can have a good photography and also in the evening the garden will be decorated with lighting and boating is available in the north garden from 6 pm onwards .You can find a good restaurants and platform food inside the park and a temple is also located inside the park. To be frank if you are a nature lover and have the zeal to have a site visit then you must be at this place . On the way you can find a good dam and bridge which is good to see if the dam gates are opened .

  • Well kept gardens and children's area. If possible, stay on grounds at the Royal Orchid Brindavan to access the garden before public opening. The dam with the surrounding lush landscape makes for a great backdrop for pictures. Avoid holidays and weekends! Getting out from the musical fountain side after the show on weekends especially when water levels are high is a nightmare.
