Tours for Brindavan Gardens
About Brindavan Gardens, Mysore
This 70 year old garden receives over two million visitors every year. It’s design and layout took inspiration from the Mughal Style Shalimar Gardens in Kashmir. Although it does not offer anything unique when compared to other gardens around the orld, it’s still well maintained and serene. The music fountain show in the evening is fun. They light up the garden at 7:00 pm and it looks prettier than ever.

One of the best photogenic spots near by Mysore. This is a built-up garden around the banks of in-famous KRS Dam. The garden has in-numerous range of flowers and botanical plants. The lawn are well- maintained integrated with fancy water fountains. Some even dance with music. The park also has small made-up lake that offers boat ride. The place is made-up such a way that it is photogenic spot for shutter bugs and tourists also family picnic with kids. This place has well planned parking lot for both two and four wheelers. Ideal visit time in monsoon season. The public transport facilities well integrated with Mysore.
Awesome place to visit in evening.. Well decorated.. so nice lighting.. Light dance, boating, music shows... Awesome place... Entry fee is 20rs per head.. Inside you can see Glass plant house, an aquarium, boating area... Had awesome time with family... Always crowded !!
This is a very apt place for families to visit and have fun at the scenic garden locations. There is plenty of parking space available. There are food vendors outside the entrance and some authorized food stalls inside also. There is a beautiful fountain show with music audio also apart from the will maintained garden scape. I have given one star rating less for this since proper washroom facilities have not been provided and people have to walk almost 20 mins to go watch the fountain show. Families with elderly people also visit this place, so a good transport facility of sorts can be given.
Must visit place especially at evening time. There is a musical fountain if you go up the garden. It’s is huge, well maintained. You can get a cloth or mat for sitting at the green grass and enjoy the cool breeze. The water though gives pungent smell at few places.
This a reminiscent of a place that used to be great in past. What left is a weekend place for the locals that lacks maintenance and looks like vendors are other service providers are trying to make money quickly before there's nothing left. Having said that, the fountains are still beautiful and the short boat trip around a fountain in the pool outside is joyful for the kids. I would recommend it if you have ample time but if you are only for a few hours in town and planning a trip, skip it.
