Bridestowe Lavender Estate Reviews & Ratings

  • A must visit spot when u are travel to Tasmania. The largest lavender farm in southern of earth. Although the harvest season is year end, but it worth to visit too. We’ll arrange all the lavender plan, nice landscape with a litter or lavender fragrance when u walk on the field. Cafe was selling many food related to lavender. Quality and cheap. The souvenirs shop also have variants of good to purchase. One of the Bobby bear that u can’t miss it’s that one u can heat it on microwave to release the fragrance of lavender. Must have.

  • Excellent experience immersing yourself in fields upon fields of lavender and breathing in the fresh, calming scent. Prepare your camera and dress comfortably to hop over hedges and take amazing photos that you will look fondly back on! We particularly enjoyed the original lavender and the honey lavender flavours of ice creams - a must have when you are there!

  • Mildly entertaining.. the “pure lavender ice cream” tasted like purple dyed vanilla, definitely expected more in-your-face lavender taste. The distillery was cool too see, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

  • Love the view, One of the most attraction place you must visit in Tasmania. The location is not that far from launceston. The lavender season is around December and January. Make sure to come here before harvest time. Lavender ice cream is really tasty, make sure give it a try!

  • Bridestowe Lavender farm is a must do visit, in Summer, to see the fields in their flowering glory. Ensure you do the guided tour also - lots of fun facts to learn! There is an entrance fee, on arrival at gate, ($10), but I think it's only during flowering time. Wonder through the fields, be wary of the dust blowing, take lots of photos and discover the Ice Cream truck (yum)!
