This is a simple Fine Art Museum focused on French paintings from the 18th to the 20th century. It also has substantial collections of Art Noveau furniture and glassware. The interior of the building is as exquisite as the artwork inside, for it has been decorated to resemble the art salons of those periods. Some of the artists represented inside include Pierre Bonnard, Francois Boucher, Ferdinand Delacroix, Amedeo Modigliani, Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley and Chaim Soutine. This is the only Museum of its kind in Japan.
