The Shukrawari Lake has many local nicknames such as Jumma Lake, Shukrawari Talav and Gandhi Sagar Lake. Often dubbed as being over 275 years old, the lake was established during the reign of Chand Sultan and was known as the Shukrawari Talav in British and Bhonsle periods. The Shukrawari Lake is rectangular in shape and is enclosed with iron railings and stonewalls. The Gandhi Sagar Lake Garden resides in middle of the reservoir and is equipped with a Shiva temple and a garden that looks magical with yellowish mercury lights as evening sets in. Boating facility is offered to the visitors.
