High Altitude Zoo, Nainital Reviews
-
The place is for young , healthy and energetic people. Old people and those with less stamina should avoid. Its at an winding high altitude . One big negative is that only cab shuttle is allowed from mall road and the monopoly of the cab operator is complete. Cabs leave only when filled with 9 people. There is a 15 min waiting time between each shuttle either ways. Understandable profits have to be made. maybe they can increase the ride ticket from 20 rs to 50. Best to walk but for that you have to be healthy, energetic 😊.....

I love the place. leopard and tiger ate main attraction, but I also like white peacock and different type of colorful birds and red panda.u can spend 4/5 hr here easily. But this is not a place for elderly people because where zoo shuttle left u, u have to walk about 200 meter on slope by foot to teach the zoo entrance gate and a lot of upward and down ward walking inside zoo also. If u can walk and lover of nature the u must visit the zoo.

Worth visiting no matter how many zoos you have visited Though small in size the zoo packs lot of wild animals and birds on varying heights to test your stamina. It takes around 2 hour to visit this place. To enjoy complete zoo, follow the yellow mark. The zoo is very clean. A fun for teenagers and young children.

Great to visit if you want to watch a Bengal Tiger! This one is the biggest attraction for the visitors here. Rest, zoo is on a hill location that simply means a lot of hill walk! You can hire a cab (on sharing basis) from Mall road to reach to the zoo.

A very nice and clean zoo, a good place for kids and family. Though there is not too much variety of animals but still you see some different species like red panda and beautiful birds. It's big and at a very high altitude so you have to trek all the way. Elderly people or someone with back or knee problems should avoid the visit.
