High Altitude Zoo Reviews & Ratings

  • Its a beautiful zoo located on top of the hill. There are different animals like tiger, leopard, himalyan wolf and some beautiful birds. Location and view will make your trip worthwhile. Just wear good pair of shoes because it involves lot of climbing up because of the hills. Definitely recommended!

  • It's a lovely place to see the animals, and the part I loved the most was old big cats are taken good care of here. But I just hated one thing, the falcon, and the badger/mongoose animal near the falcons. Falcons should not be in a cage that small. They are majestic beings. It was heartbreaking. And the badger/monsoon animal in the cage was so lonely, all the other cages were empty. It was sad to see him so alone. Please find him a friend.

  • Wonderful zoo. Perfect place for kids to spend great time. Not recommended for elderly person as it has too much steep climbing. Best attractions are Tiger, Leopard and Panda.

  • Have visited many zoos across India. This one I loved most. It's small but you get to see Animals from very near. Only thing is they should reduce pick-up drop charges for shuttle and the entry fee.

  • Private vehicles or taxi are not allowed to b taken till zoo. Shuttle service for zoo runs to and fro from mall road near hotel india. Well maintained and rare Himalayan birds and animals delight to watch. A big NO for senior citizens and persons with health issues..As zoo is built on a mountain - very steep slopes , lots of ups and downs and no steps anywhere..
