Snow View Point - Review
Snow View Point is one of the most visited tourist spots in Nainital that offers excellent views of 350 km long range of snow-capped Himalayas. Situated at a height of 2270 meters, it is well connected by road and can also be accessed by taking an adventurous ride of the aerial ropeway from Mallital. There are small shops selling tea and snacks at the Snow View Point. Highlights and must sees include:
- A Huge Binocular at the spot to get an enchanting view of the town and the beautiful valley.
- Eagle eye view of the Nainital Lake and the town from Cable Car/Aerial ropeway.
- ‘GadhanKunkyop Ling Gompa of the Geluka order’ - a Tibetan monastery nearby.

Snow View Point, Nainital Reviews
It is a trekking point but no one told us that you have to trek 2 km uphill to reach here. You can find better view points on the road itself.
It's highest point located near Naomi lake. One can go either through ropeway or through road. U can see clear picture of opposite Himalayan peak by binoculars from October to March. One can enjoy game, eat momo n do photography. It's surrounded by pine n deodar tree giving photogenic feel.
You will get a view of himalaya. There And to reach this place you have to take a local cab (either alto or nano) There are so many agents available near naini lake who will provide you the cabs Cost highly fluctuates Here i am giving you an idea of what i paid on june 4'18 We have hired 2 five seater (alto) And paid for 8 points Total :2000 If you want to see 5 points Total will be "1500"
Definitely worth a visit. We didn't get to see the Himalayan range due to off season but it was nonetheless a good experience.
Nice spot in Nainital. Better to go there by ropeway. Have fun.
