Karen Blixen Coffee Garden And Cottages, Nairobi Reviews
Nice place mostly for family outings since the kids can be running around the grass cause its spacious and outdoorsy. The buffet is great mostly the meat sections yummy😋. If you're an arty person you'll enjoy the display of really good art around the place as you down your drinks. The waiters are really friendly. Good job guys.
Very nice, cozy dinner atmosphere. We ate outdoors and it turned dark and was chilly. They brought a tableside charcoal heater and a lantern for light. We had grilled perch and shrimp and it was all delicious. We were hungry enough we forgot to take pictures of the food!
The food was very good, and everything held a high standard. Clean, professional and friendly. But the food took forever to reach the table, even by Kenyan standards (more than one hour). The price should reflect quicker service.
Good food, cozy place for an evening out.
We booked 2 days in advance for a sunday. It is a cheerful place, food is good, not a huge variety but you can find everything like grilled fish ands ea food, meat and chicken, barbecue and kids menue (nuggets, hotdogs, fries) and a table for sweets (deserts). There is a playhround for kids with face painting. We had a tour in the garden and we visited the kld colonial house. A man passes by to sell drinks (dawa).
