Railway Museum, Nairobi Reviews

Google+
  • Really nice place to spend an afternoon. Not much of a groupie type of place though. The antic trains are well maintained. You actual feel like you're an oldie. Also, there's wide variety of information about the trains construction and management by the whites. Best place to learn about the Lunatic Express.

  • One place that holds so much history of the Kenya that was before and after independent Kenya. They got steam engines in the outside gallery still intact to amazing art galleries with great artists showcasing or working on their talents

  • Amazing art and welcoming people. Had an amazing photo session. With permission though

  • A nerdy little gem close to the city centre. The exhibits have not aged well and the new section of the Chinese train needs to be fleshed out, but it’s the train yard you come here for. Wander around and climb on top of some of the most beautiful and powerful locomotives built.

  • Nice place for a Saturday afternoon outing. Very captivating museum gallery!
