A museum named and dedicated to one of the most revered, authentic and distinguished painters during the Qing dynasty, Badashanren. His real name was Zhu Da and was born of a royal descent in the family of first Ming emperor Zhu Yuanzhang. His paintings were mainly composed of flowers and birds but his choice of colour was interesting. His artworks and calligraphy have remained popular for almost 3 centuries after his death. Some of his masterpieces like Ink Lotus, Pine and Crane House, Eagle Standing in Trees and Deer of Longevity are exhibited here. Along with him the museum houses works by many other artists like Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, Pan Tianshou and Li Kuchan. Regarded as one of top ten cultural celebrities by the UNESCO it is an absolute delight for art enthusiasts.
