Though architecturally Gothic, the basilica you see today was built only in the 19th century. However, a church has stood in this location since the 10th century. It has a 24 metre high nave, lovely stained glass windows, and a great staircase gifted by Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria. There is also an excellent organ, a Grand Merklin-Schutze. The square right outside the city is one of the city’s busiest and oldest. Go on a sunny day to see the church at its most beautiful.

  • Beautiful church, surrounded by big trees. Situated in the center of the city near lots of other turist attractions, it's easily identified by its massive tower (87 m). The neogothic style is impressive and blends in with the rest of the historical places in Nancy.

  • Looks beautiful from the outside, wasn't able to get in unfortunately (was there outside opening hours). You could have a drink on the opposite terrace and gaze at the details ;-)

  • Nice place

  • Lovely church, good for a short visit

  • Gothic treasure in the magnificent old town. Dear to the Habsbourg family.
