Musee Des Beaux-arts - Review
This institution was founded way back in 1793, and since then has become an important exhibition space. Practically all major European art movements from the 14th to the 21st centuries are represented within these halls, and the works of many masters. These include paintings, drawings, engravings, sculptures, glassworks. There is also a beautiful collection of crystals that trace 100 years of glassmaking history in Nancy.

Musee Des Beaux-arts, Nancy Reviews
That museum is not very big, but beautiful. Ufortunately, the -1 floor was closed for technical reasons, :-( however, it is said, that this is one of the most interesting part of the museum.
Wunderful pieces of art deco.
There are no descriptions in english. If you don't speak french, don't bother coming.
Huge collection, amazing arts from Émile Friant!
Pieces by major artists are scattered throughout this large collection. Some beautiful interior architecture. Great introduction to Nancy Artists, especially Émile Friant. The ticket also gives entry to the special exhibition. Don't miss the breathtaking display of Daum glass in the basement. And most importantly, the museum is open on Monday, when many other attractions and shops are shut.
