Another excellent museum located in the city downtown district the Guangxi Provincial Museum boasts of a large collection belonging to Guangxi province. The building built in 1974 is known fit its chiselled features and architectural symmetry. The museum contains the largest collections of bonze drums with about 334 actual drums along with the source data of about 1388 more drums. The museum is said to contain more than 50,000 piece of relics some of which are of great national importance. It proves to be an excellent preserver and chronicler of ancient Guangxian customs, culture and tradition.
