Musee d'histoire naturelle de Nantes opened in 1875. The museum houses a number of collections of the town’s zoology, paleontology and mineralogy. The museum has a vivarium as well, where there are snakes all over the background. The museum also has a decent collection of stones and collection of stuffed animals. With helpful and knowledgeable staff this lovely museum offers some great time to visitors. The museum is open daily except Tuesdays from 10.00am to 6pm.
