Place Du Bouffay - Review
Place du Bouffay is located right at the center of Nantes, in Bouffay district. Bouffay district is said to be popular because of its historical past and when it comes to a tour to this district, this Place is considered as the starting point. It was once a courtyard and the first fortress of Bouffay. However, with the removal of the Duke reign, the place got turned into a market and the theater. During French revolution, the pillory got replaced by the guillotine. Today, though the place has lost some of its previous charm but with renovation it has managed to attract tourists till date.
The only remaining you can see is the belfry, kept at the top of the Holy Cross Church.
