Artesa Vineyards And Winery, Napa Reviews
This location is absolutely stunning and the grounds are very nicely kept. It reminds you of a beautiful museum style setting! Breathtaking! However, the quality we expected for classic wines was disappointing! The wines were very rough around the edges ... reminded us of Spanish table wines! The front desk person was not focused and very welcoming! We were made to taste the wine in the gift shop and were not allowed in the bar/tasting area since it is by reservation only. We felt a bit rushed too. The place was not even busy. I hope the owners change this in the future! To recap: beautiful setting with middle of the road wines!
We were passing by and looking forward to a brief stop for a glass of wine on their terrace with an amazing view. Unfortunately just to walk out there each of you have to purchase one of their full tastings... I definitely recommend it you're looking to spend some time and do a tasting, but for a quick stop $120 to stand on a balcony was a little much!
This was our second visit to Artesa. The view is second to none. Shelby is amazing. She is so knowledge and so fun. She made our experience outstanding. The wines, from sparkling, to rose, chardonnay and every red you can imagine... Something for every taste. It's so worth the trip!!
First time at Artesa and was in awe of the views and wine. Ryan was wonderfully knowledgeable and really made our tasting experience. We lived the wine so much, especially the rosé, we walked out the door with a few bottles. Would certainly visit again!
We had a lovely time; we were in Napa and were able to come in on a Sunday afternoon, without a reservation, as it was a somewhat impromptu trip. We were seated inside and could still see the beautiful view. Maria served us and she did an amazing job, she was sweet, informative and patient with us. She was a joy to work with. I'm no wine expert but I had a great time. I actually enjoyed tasting the differences in the wine. some I quite liked. We had plenty. We shared an amazing fruit, cheese, cracker and olive tray, there is a fancy name for it but I don't know it :) It was very tasty. The people were friendly, the grounds and location were gorgeous, the building was very modern, sort of a stark contrast to the beautiful scenery. It didn't not work, but it was unexpected. I would recommend this place, absolutely. Was it cheap? No, its a vineyard in Napa. :)
