Jarvis Estate, Napa Reviews
Hey Marty, I had a super time. If you can give Jarvis one star. Its plain Wrong. We had Sheila and she was top Notch. The tasting room was totally out of this World. The wine is 100% on the money. I and my family loved it.
I made a visit to Jarvis last summer. The drive is very nice, minimal traffic when I went that way. The parking is plentiful and actually quite beautiful itself, you are surrounded by grass and trees in the parking lot. Walking up to the winery is quite interesting, you walk upon two massive doors that open to the winery and the caves. everything is located within the caves, the offices the reception desk, really everything. We were greeted promptly upon entering the caves, they made you feel very welcome being there. We were then given a tour if these massive caves, they had a section that housed beautiful and massive geodes of stones, really giving this tour a great vibe. They shared the care that goes in to their wines, sorting, fermentation, ageing all happen within the caves so they can ensure the quality of their wines. The wines, stunning, the Chardonnay was one of the finest California Chards I have ever had, full bodied yet still shows of that grapes character, it was so good that after finishing the wine i could not stop going back to my glass to smell that beauty. The reds we had were also as good as any I have tried in Napa. This is a must visit place for those wanting to experience the finest wines Napa has to offer, and what is nice, what you get in the bottle...the prices are far better than you would expect, not cheap for sure but not priced so you feel you would need to lick the bottles up, so thank you for that Jarvis! Keep up that wonderful, friendly and sincere service you gave us. We will be back in 2018 until then Cheers!
Sil and his entire staff are the best! Wine tasting & tour was really extraordinary.
