Napa Valley Distillery Reviews & Ratings
Quality small batch bitters. Truly artisinal.
This is an awesome little find. The staff is super knowledgeable and the spirits are amazing!
From some articles we read, we thought this would be a bar setting or separate loclae but this one is just a store front in the open market. We passed on a tasting but they had a variety of gin and bar accessories that looked interesting.
We weren't sure what to expect but Theodore was awesome. He walked us through the distillery process which offered a lot of interesting information. When it came time to sip the first bourbon; he showed us the "proper" way to taste so that you really appreciate the complexities of the liquor. We hadn't intended on purchasing anything but after the tasting, we were sold. Now that we're back home in Ohio; we take pleasure in teaching our friends the "Theodore method" of sipping bourbon. I would highly recommend a visit and next time we're in Cali - we will definitely return. Thank you, Theodore.
Not worth it. I split a flight and they charged me $20 (vs $15 for a flight for a single person) and they poured the same volume as the two people getting individual flights. The flight was 1.5 oz split between 6 products so it was hard to get a sense of each product.
