Sequoia Grove Vineyards Reviews & Ratings
I would give it 6 stars if I could! The food and wine pairing is a must with chef Brittany! We have been to Sequoia Grove for a wine tasting, but the pairing is something special! Be sure to drink the wine before you start in on the plate of food and see how the wine transforms!! It’s something special! Be sure to ask for Lisa as your host! I plan to return end of February to take one of my best friend’s for her 40th birthday!
This is a charming winery, with dependably excellent wine and very friendly staff. The grounds are very pretty; it's a treat to just hang out before or after (or during) a tasting. They have good events, like a Wine & Food tasting that's a cut above the usual offering. You can even bring in your own food and have a picnic on the patio. All of their wines are good but the reds are outstanding.
Recommended by a wine maker to us. Like most Napa wineries this place is beautiful. Multiple areas to taste wine. Small gift shop. Outdoor patio under the big trees. Enjoyed the wine tasting with some tiny plate of flavors. Wow this really changed the experience. A little brie cheese, sea salt, a slice of apple and gouda. That was very interesting and taught me how food changes taste!
Staff was great! We stop by back in April and the manager and the lady in training were super nice to us, it was one of our last stops that day but certainly not the least. We had to slow down at that time since we had 🍷 all day long and needed to drive back to the hotel 30min away, they were very dedicated to us even so and welcomed us like some other places didn’t (places with required appointment and higher tasting fees). The sequoias are beautiful and the winery feeling the best! MUST STOP HERE IF YOU’RE in Napa! I should have written their names, meant to post right after we left and delayed a lot on it so can’t remember it now. Sorry ladies but thank you so much if you remember who you are :)
We've been to the winery before for a wine tasting, but on this visit, we did the Wine & Food Experience. What a treat. The chef prepared food to accompany the wine, and it really enhanced the flavors of the wine. The food was awesome, the wine was awesome, but paired together in this setting made it tremendously better. Great job by their friendly staff. I would recommend you experience this tasting.
