Centennial Beach Reviews & Ratings

  • Pretty wonderful place to hit up when it is hot outside. The lifeguards and staff do a great job reminding people of pool safety. There are lots of things to do with the little ones, like the big sand beach and the wading section (up to 4 feet) plus diving boards and a huge 15 foot deep section for advanced swimmers. The concession stand boasts a wide array of foods, including fresh grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, ice cream and candies from a local shop. But, they also have grills available for use or you can bring your own portable grill and a cooler! Fun days for families or friends!

  • The beach was pretty crowded and it wasn't on a day that they consider their busiest summer days. There really wasn't not a lot of room to really swim and enjoy myself with my family. There was only one slide for older kids that know how to swim, so since my daughter is still in the early stages of swimming she couldn't go on it since we asked the life guard, she was pretty upset. I would recommend a water park instead if I was being brutally honest.

  • Swim test for the deep end...group of middle schoolers went tonight and only 5/30 kids passed. Huh?! My 12 yr old has been swimming since he was 3 and didn't pass because he didn't properly breathe or bring his fin arm high enough. So disappointed and won't be back.

  • I like a lot about this place, but the hourly (?) safety checks become tiresome. Bathrooms are up a flight of stairs, as are refreshments. All this is fine if you have older kids, but with younger ones, I was pretty tired by the end of the day.

  • Very nice. It’s fun for all ages, but the water is hard to see through doe. My name is jeff
