Mohaka Rafting, Napier Reviews
What a great way to spend a day. We did the grade 3 trip in one of the last weeks of the season, so my parents and I were the only ones booked that day, but they still gave us a great experience. Jack the guide did an amazing job making everyone feel save on the boat. The Mohaka river had some really quick rapids even though I’d hadn’t rained much for a while. I will definitely come back to do the grade 4/5 trip. Ps: they have a dog named panda who tags along on the van and he loves cuddles.
This was my second trip with Mohaka Rafting and I had even more fun this time than I did last time, if that is even possible! The guides are awesome and help to make the day lots of fun as well as making sure everyone is kept safe. The equipment is excellent and the opportunities to explore the area and swim in the river are lots of fun. I highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for a day of adventure.
Awesome rafting trip. Was about 3 hours. Great views and awesome guides.
Was part of a large group last week. Excellent day, all rafting guides friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable of the river. Catered extremely well to my health issue. A memorable day enjoyed by all.
Excellent day, staff were excellent, rapids were excellent, just all round excellent. Absolute bargain for a solid 7 hour day (including bus transport from base camp to the Mohaka). Went on the grade 3 rapids, got a little soaked, but the supplied wet suits and splash-jackets kept us very warm and comfortable. Tea, coffee, and biscuits provided at the end of the day, along with a complimentary USB stick with all high-quality photos taken throughout the day. Would absolutely go again!
