About La Chiesa Dell'arte Della Seta - Complesso Dei Santi Filippo E Giacomo, Naples

The Renaissance style was first built in the 16th century, then thoroughly reconstructed in the 18th. It’s thusly names for it was commissioned by merchants and tradesmen, for in those days the city of Naples was doing a booming business in silk. The highlights of the church are the curved facade with statues, the terracotta tiled floor, the many frescoes, the first chapel dedicated to Saints Philip and James, and an 18th century sacristy.
