Piazza Del Gesu Nuovo - Review
Three prominent monuments are behind this square’s fame - The Church of Gesu Nuovo, The Church of Santa Chiara, and The guglia of the Immaculate Virgin (Obelisco dell'Immacolata).. The last is a spire, a plague column, one of the three in the city, built to urge the Virgin to protect the city from the disease. It’s an ornate Baroque work that took many decades to complete and was completed in 1750. Every 8th of December firemen decorate the Virgin with a wreath of flowers. The square is one of the most beautiful in the city.

Piazza Del Gesu Nuovo, Naples Reviews
Eh. Its a cool place to walk through, and the church is really impressive, but unless you like watching people I don't think its something to go out of your way for. 3/5 plaza, fine on its own. 5/5 church, if you're into religious iconography and close by, take a step in and check it out
Lively square with an impressive monument, couple of churches and a few restaurants. The area felt a bit sketchy to me though. That's coming from someone who actually loves the roughness of Naples, so I dunno what it was lol.
Great place to visit. Lively piazza with a very impressive church. A must see on any trip to naples
Impressive church and a shop were you can buy bus tickets to pompey and vesuvius
One of the loveliest piazzas at Napoli. Open space in front of the church. The church outside is unique and there is no way to imagine how marvelous it looks from inside. One of the top churces (and there are a lot of them) in Napoli.
