Pontile Nord - Review

When they built the wharf for fishing boats and docking ships back in 1962 they probably did not expect it to become so popular with tourists. But the 900 metre long jetty is now probably the nicest sunset walk in Naples, with the most peaceful views of the Gulf of Naples. No wheeled vehicles are allowed. There are fountains to drink from.

Check out the sculpture called Pasqualone near the beginning, made by Giancarlo Blacks out of waste material from a steel mill.

  • This place is "tre cool". You can take a really long walk to the end of this pier at no charge and get a great view of the Gulf of Naples in one direction and Bagnoli in the other. With Nisida Island and the Bagnoli boat harbor off one side, and Bagnoli waterfront on the other. All-in-all a very peaceful getaway from the traffic and crowds of city life.

  • Long molo woth nice view. Perfect for walks.

  • Join the locals for an early evening stroll along the half mile pier!

  • Nice place to have a rest for a while, sunbath, walk, run... whatever. Surroundings isn't that nice but this place you'll enjoy! I recommend to go by train.

  • .Very dirty and looking abandoned
