When they built the wharf for fishing boats and docking ships back in 1962 they probably did not expect it to become so popular with tourists. But the 900 metre long jetty is now probably the nicest sunset walk in Naples, with the most peaceful views of the Gulf of Naples. No wheeled vehicles are allowed. There are fountains to drink from.
Check out the sculpture called Pasqualone near the beginning, made by Giancarlo Blacks out of waste material from a steel mill.
