Stadio San Paolo - Review

This 60000 seater football stadium is the 3rd largest in Italy and most famous for the match against Argentina in 1990 World Cup semi-final, with a particularly famous episode with Maradona happening. It’s been a little run down for a while but they’re trying to turn it around.

  • Run down stadium, but amazing structure none the less. Lack of S.S.C Napoli signage makes it less photogenic. Bonus star to the stadium cleaner who allowed me inside to take pics!

  • I went to Naples to watch Napoli v Crotone in May 2018 and it was pretty daunting for me as it was my first time away from England alone however the day was quite easily one of the best of my life The atmosphere in the stadium was electric yet friendly at the same time. It was a beautiful day watching a brilliant football team. Only problems which are really minor are the seats aren't the best quality and the seats are quite far away from the pitch but that didn't stop me enjoying a great day.

  • this is a very old stadium with bad infrastructure but an amazing atmosphere. Away fans need to travel a long way with busses to avoid getting attacked by italian hooligans.

  • Wonderful feelings watching a game at Naples stadium.. Neapolitan loves football that's what makes it great to watch the game with them

  • I went to Pinoè concert. Magic, emotions and blues music. Indelible.
