Naritasan Park - Review

With three lakes that are surrounded by Japanese gardens adorned by Cherry Blossom trees and colorful flowers, the Naritasan Park is a favorite autumn spot in the city. The Chinese styled Gazebos and small architectural elements that create a striking charm with the lush-green environment, makes for a relaxing sight. Feeding the Koi fishes that have made the ponds their home, is a must!

Take a walk around the park during sunny afternoons to best explore the massive grounds.

  • Gorgeous and peaceful place covered with old trees. You pass by several monuments and derelict houses where monks used to train. Some of the rivers and waterfall was drying up which was unfortunate to see but you can still see beautiful birds and huge butterflies if you're lucky. Recommend for a peaceful stroll.

  • Beautiful place, so peaceful! Everything was so tidy. Free entrance for an amazing park, with lakes, little falls and temples. Can't wait to go back

  • Beautiful park. Great place to relax and take in nature. I was able to squeeze in a visit while on a few hour layover at the Narita airport.

  • We went here on our last day in Japan. It was the best decision! It had everything that you needed to see. Beautiful temples and castles. The grounds were gorgeous and there are cherry blossoms every where. There are lots of food options around it, and a little market if you want to buy souvenirs. There were lots of turtles as you walk in as well.

  • Came here on a 9 hour layover at Narita international airport. It was only a 10 minute railway ride here and another 10 minute walk to get there. Pretty simple Absolutely gorgeous, a must see if you have some time near the airport. Totally free to walk around here and there are clean public restrooms. Restaurants all around the entrance as well
