  • Aug 2017. Not much parking but that's typical for the area. Nice unscreened outdoor seating. Nice indoor seating and nice bar area. Canned music isn't too loud. The okra has a breading like I'd use on bluegill. super! I'd say my #3 best okra anywhere. The black eyed peas and corn were very good. The pulled pork was fatty and without a naturally smoky flavor. The brisket looked beautiful but the quality of the beef was fatty clean through and not to my liking. Perhaps a different day would have better meat. The hot sauce was OK. Real good service. Mid prices. The desert pies looked good.

  • The best ribs I have had in Nashville and probably my #1 BBQ spot in Nashville at this point. Peg leg ribs are solid for dry rub, but the ribs themselves are probably just OK. Martins is better, and is wet ribs. These ribs at Edley's are also wet but the quality seems higher than the other two places. My girl's pulled pork was really good as well. The cornbread was great, the corn was great, the baked beans were a little sweet-tasting for my taste but my girl enjoyed those. Overall I was very very impressed with the taste and quality compared to a few of the other big BBQ joints in Nashville, and the value per dollar was incredible. Will definitely be coming back.

  • It's a wait. Secret... there's a huge bar section that is a few feet walking from the main entrance... so I got a seat immediately once I went there. A few of us figured that out. Food was seasoned very well.. absolutely delicious. Me and mom split the brisket and ribs with bakes beans, macaroni, Cole slaw and potato salad. It was good. The bartender was a bit out there. She was more busy talking to people than actually helping. But overall experience was good.

  • This was a happening spot standing line continuously. You wait in line place order get a number and someone brings it out. While in line we decided what we wanted ribs, brisket, and burnt ends. It took about 40+ minutes to get to check out this is where you will find the sign that lets u know if they are sold out of anything. Wouldnt you know they were out of ALL our choices. So chicken and pork it was. Food and sides were very very good I can only imagine what the others would taste like. I'd suggest they move the sign but from a business stand point it genus, your not gonna wait that long and not just order something else. Would go back in heart beat but would definitely eat earlier.
