Ernest Tubb Record Shop, Nashville Reviews

  • I was there over this past weekend on a very busy Saturday night. The man working the store had so much knowledge and answered all of our questions! Walked in the store many time but this time having see the Loretta Lynn stage area and the man telling us all the history was the best visit by far. Thanks again will definitely be back!

  • Historic and awesome . Great stories from the employees and great recomendations . Love the music I purchased there and I would say dont miss the chance if you are in town.

  • Was there Aug 4, 2018 and was greeted by a middle aged man who had sooooo much knowledge on the history of the store, and of country music artists from long ago . . . . I soooo appreciated his knowledge and insight, I just wish he and I could have talked some more, but he had other customets to tend to. Will definately be back to see him and talk some more. They have a pretty good music selection on obscure country music artists as well. Highly suggest anyone taking a peek, as its been around since the late 40's.

  • An old time record shop that has so many old recordings of just about every country artist from the inception of the Grand Ole Opry days. Friendly staff. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville.

  • I was a little bit disappointed, to be honest. The range of music was good and it's an iconic shop but I guess it's a different market now with internet and the declining importance of a good record store.
