You can go to the Natchez National Cemetery with your tour companions to spend some time at this tranquil place. Close to the Mississippi River, this large cemetery covers 25.7 acres of land. In 1866, this piece of land was purchased to give a proper burial to the soldiers of the Civil War. In 1999, the cemetery was enlisted in the National Register of Historic Places of US. The spot of Natchez National Cemetery looks charming as its shape resembles a wedding cake and gravel roads surround the whole site.
