Schonbuch is a nature reserve sprawling across an area of 156 square km. This enormous nature park is an oasis of natural beauty and attracts tourists and locals alike. It is situated between Herrenberg, Stuttgart and Tubingen and very few roads pass through it. It is the first nature park in Baden-Wurttemberg, and was established in the year 1972. The entire area of the reserve is densely wooded and offers great hiking and biking tracks. Varied terrain can be observed here including moorlands, orchards and vineyards. Head to this place for a rejuvenating break.
