Agrasen Ki Baoli is a 60 meters long and 15 meters wide historical monument. It is well known hangout and tourist spot built by the famed King Agrasen. This Baoli has a total of 108 steps with four levels. At the northern end of the venue there is a round well measuring 7.8 meters in diameter – it is coated by iron grills at the crest and is joined with the Baoli through a pole. During bygone days water flowed over the well and filled the baoli from the base to the apex level. Many commercial Indian movies have been filmed in this historic monument. • Really cool example of architecture that you won’t find anywhere else in the world. It’s an easy 30 minute trip as there isn’t a ton to do, but try to come in the morning as the area can get VERY hot during the day. Also recommended is a breathing mask if you’re interested in going down to the lower levels as the air quality is very poor owing to dust and the pigeon population.....

  • This was my go-to place after college to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. This baoli is right behind my house so this was a wonderful place to be when you were feeling down. But over the years, with lot of people visiting this place have ruined its charm and seclusion. People write on the walls, throw plastic bottles, drink beer and leave the cans there itself. I miss this place when only a few people knew bout it. I am not ranting about more than usual no. Of people visiting, I'm just asking respect these historical landmarks. Enjoy and keep them clean.

  • This place speaks for its own history. The majestic baoli is great to witness and get pictures of. There are almost a hundred steps to climb down to reach the area where the well is located. Make sure you reach well before sunset lest you might get bitten by mosquitoes. :) Also, weekdays are better to visit this place as it's mostly crowded on Sundays. And make sure you carry a good camera as the place has many shots for good pictures. :) :)
