This place was great! Started out with chowder and mussels I could have are 3 buckets if there was no lobster coming. The mussels tasted like they were caught in the morning the same day and you could get bucket after bucket. The salad course was mediocre at best, but we're not here for salad. Next up was the lobster. Some of the best I have ever had! Dessert was also excellent and a lot of selection. 4 stars 5 stars without the salad
Basically all you can eat (mussels, soup, salad, dessert). Some courses were better than other, but I thought it was a great experience and would definitely recommend. If you aren't a lobster/shellfish fan, the other options didn't look as great. Salmon looked alright, but I didn't try it. We (2 people) arrived at 4:40 on a Tuesday in August and there was a 20 min line to get in. Definitely try to make a reservation for a group, if you can, or expect to wait a little bit. It moves fast though. They sometimes serve as many as 800 people from 4-8PM!
My husband and I went for dinner last week. We were a little concerned because of some of the reviews, but took a chance anyways. I have to say our waiter Evan was excellent. The timing between courses was perfect. The food was excellent! The view outside was beautiful! I'm not sure why anyone could complain. I highly recommend!
Very enjoyable. If there are tons of cars outside so not get discouraged the place seats a ton of people. So much food you will not leave hungry! Had the one pound lobster which is the smallest one and was still stuffed to the gills. Decent kids menu that comes with all the sides and is very reasonably priced.
Very unique dining experience! Restaurant is located right in New Glasgow and has ample parking. I recommend reservations here, we arrived early without making them and were seated fairly quickly but the wait upon leaving was a good 30 minutes. When you get here, you have to purchase meal tickets as you enter so try and decide before you enter, their menu is posted online. Kids eat free so that's a bonus. Once seated, you hand your meal tickets to your waiter or waitress and everything is included with your meal other than liquor. Freshly baked rolls are offered with unlimited mussels, soup or chowder, salad and drinks like pop, milk, etc... Your main meal is served and then desert and coffee or tea are included as well.
