Mianus River Park Reviews & Ratings

  • It’s just damp woods. It was okay for a trail run in the woods. Not overly crowded (it was near dusk on a weekday). A lot of dog walkers and folks out for a quick stroll. Not bad for a quick taste of nature. Heavy mosquito activity. No viewpoints, points of interest or overlook of any kind that I could find. Most of the trails that I ran on were very similar in terrain as well. The drive there is on a very narrow yet well maintained road, neat houses to look at, with few others on the road. I may go back as it’s one of the few places to go to in the area.

  • I loved exploring this park! It’s amazing that something like this is so close to Stamford! There is a main trail plus a bunch of smaller off the beaten path type trails you can take. Nice place to spend a couple hours and enjoy the scenery.

  • It's pretty flat with some hills. It was also buggy. We did the other loop or the "maze trail" on all tails. It was a very easy hike. We were looking for something harder.

  • Great trails! Good for a jog, walk and mountain biking!!! My dogs love getting walked here too!

  • This is a huge hiking park with beautiful scenery. There's many trails to go on with a lot of entrances depending on where you're coming from or where you want to walk. This park is more than 3 miles long and you can end up in Stamford if you wanted to which is cool. This is a great workout and I recommend it to everyone.
