  • Great charbroiled oysters and bread pudding. Service was fantastic too, even when I got there before closing and stayed late; never felt rushed. Only reason I docked a star was because of the fishy smell and general uncleanliness of the restaurant, but what can I expect from a restaurant right off Bourbon St at the end of the night?

  • One of the best oysters and seafood in NOLA! their raw and grilled oysters are a must try. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff too. If you go during the weekend or dinner time there will probably a line. But it's worth the wait for sure:)

  • Great food. Great service. Built-in anticipation by making you wait in line outside. But there's a good chance you'll see a parade while you're waiting to get in.

  • A must visit spot when in New Orleans. Well known and great food. Line is always out front but moves quickly. If you want quicker seating try sitting at the bar. Just as good of an experience as table seating. Bar staff is friendly and courteous. Oysters are delicious and fresh. Try them raw or grilled. The grilled are sensational! I visited twice during my visit to New Orleans and I highly recommend to any and all for great food and local flavors.

  • Great fun and enthusiasm from all the shockers. Go when there is no line and have fun. This oyster house is iconic and fun place If you want fine there are other places to go. If you want great oysters, a beer and a lot of laughs go here.
