Chateau Orleans, New Orleans Reviews - Write a Review

  • Very nice quaint vacation spot. Small, cozy rooms with central courtyard and pool. Please realize the French Quarter is made up of really old buildings, so the hotel shows some of it's age which is part of it's charm. Pros: reasonably priced, cozy, two blocks from Bourbon Street with parking nearby, bed was comfortable, friendly guest and staff Cons: second floor room (E2) has very narrow entry if you don't open the other half of the French door, steep spiral staircase which made suitcase hauling a bit of a challenge, not really suited for four people to stay, parking is in short supply which makes it very expensive ($30 per 24hr) Given all of that, would I stay there again? YES.

  • The accommodations weren't properly stocked and setup. Not friendly to people with physical limitations. And the male desk worker was rude and unhelpful in more than one instance.

  • Great location in the French Quarter. Short walk to Bourbon street. Some noise but hey, you're in New Orleans. Would definitely stay here again and again.

  • Convenient location, clean, comfortable, pleasant, affordable. Includes living room, small kitchen, nice courtyard with pool.

  • Great hidden gem. I am an owner and so come to visit regularly. There are some things that need updating, but this is one of the best locations in the French Quarter. It's close to the action but far enough out to be quiet.
