Daisy Dukes Express Reviews & Ratings
This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I enjoyed it very much. I passed by it the night before, but decided not to stop because it was crowded. After tasting the food, I understand why. Luckily I was able to stop by for lunch on my last day in the city. I will definitely add it to my list of restaurants to visit each time I visit New Orleans.
Great customer service with outstanding staff. This restaurant definitely has their pros when it comes to service. The interior is charming and very clean including a full service bar. The food quality was great specially comparing it to the pricing. Fast service made it easy to get in and out.
10:30a.m. on a Saturday and we were immediately seated at the counter/bar. Prompt and courteous staff took our drink orders and was right back with them, ready to take our food order. Food was delicious, hot and plentiful.. And served in a timely manner. This wasn't or 1st time here and it won't be our last. Just left and already looking forward to returning soon.
Surprisingly good food. Not the most upscale setting, but the staff was super friendly. I can recommend the alligator sausage, fried green tomatoes and gumbo. Wifey had a burger and liked it just fine. Decent prices and good portion sizes.
Best bloody Mary's? I wouldn't say so. The mimosas are better but just okay. The food if the worst southern food I have had. Would never come back. Staff is supper nice and attentive, so if you do go at least that will be enjoyable.
