The French Market has it all- a flea market, a farmer’s market, small eateries where you can grab a quick bite and live music that completes the ambience.
If you love to shop, you will love the variety of clothes, jewellery, art, artefacts and the sheer variety of food available here. Evenings see the market at its busiest and if you want to shop local (and at a good bargain), a visit here will be enjoyable.

French Market Reviews & Ratings
This is a great place to go if you want to stroll around and shop. Great places to eat along the way as well.
The French Quarter Market is amazing. Half flea market, half food, all great people watching. Geared to the tourists.
Great place to wander around on a Saturday morning. So many vendors and many things to see. Great selection of food too.
An amazing collection of flea market and bazaar type venue. All kinds of crafts and food. Very busy with lots of people around and the people are promoting their goods. The best part for me was the stand with the boiled peanuts. I am an expert on boiled peanuts and these were some of the best. Great experience.
Facinating place to walk through. Many stalls with a variety of merchandise.
