Fun, unique, outdoor market. Full of work by local artists, including jewelry, photographs, paintings and many unique items. Worth visiting, even if you’re just browsing. Stop by here as you’re walking through Frenchman street. Probably not worth visiting in bad weather and there’s no parking or washrooms.
Great small spot with a number of local artists, many New Orleansians by choice with a few natives mixed in. Good variety of art, from paint on canvas to photography to jewelry. Found a fun children's book, too. It's aimed at tourists, but not too touristy.
You can find anything you want here. Great art from all over the world and local artists. Make sure you have a few hours to really enjoy the many unique vendors.
Sad to see this is permanently closed, especially as I believe it was still open before Christmas. Bought a lovely painting from there last April and there were some lovely unique pieces overall. A great addition to the area
We strolled Frenchmen Street last Sunday, Feb 25th, and the Art Market was alive and well! Beautifully lit, little outdoor bazaar. So fun!
