Immaculate Conception Church - Review
The Immaculate Conception Church completed in the 1930’s resembles the original church built on the same ground in the 1850’s. The church and is loved for its Venetian Gothic Revival and Moorish Revival influenced design.
The stunning golden alter made in France gets your attention straight away as you enter the church and the beautiful stained-glass art and Byzantine revival touches- all come together to add to its beauty.
The highlights of the church are the alter and the Louisiana Cotton Exposition Organ.

Immaculate Conception Church, New Orleans Reviews
This an old Catholic church with wonderful architecture to admire. The architect of this church is so lovely and I'm glad I was able to stop, we really loved the modern abstract stained glass windows near the ceiling. The church holds 2000 people. Located next to main feature park commemorating the two laureates of St Lucia. Nice spot to visit and to have a moment to reflect. Don't pass up the opportunity to visit,
Old historical church. Walk around try to embrace the beauty of the church. Feel peaceful but you can feel some overwhelming blessings. I recommend to visit this church after mass. Just close your eyes and let go all your problems. Believe that she's listening to you and give your thanks to her.
Shimi and I went to church while we were doing IVLP in New Orleans, USA. It is very close from the French Quarter where we stayed. So we just walked 15 minutes to the church. The church structure is beautiful, reminded me of the church I visited while I was in Prague, Czech.
Beautiful and very well organized church, great priest. It’s a pleasure to be a part of the Mass.
This a a beautiful church in the heart of downtown. I go to Mass here when I can.
