Pretty interesting to see how the floats are made and warehoused. Nice to have the shuttle to pick you up. Not my first choice of what to see in New Orleans, but if you checked everything else out, it's worth learning about these floats. Watching the artists at work was cool!
Really neat place! Fun to see all the floats and how they make them. We got to go into the mansion house which was actually inside a huge building, very cool. Backed right up to the Mississippi river so great spot to check a lot of NOLA things out
This museum might be slightly off the beaten path, but it is sure worth the trip! Great view of the Mississippi River and they provide transportation to and from most the major hotels! Great way to learn about some New Orleans history! Tickets are reasonable. Friendly staff. Recommend!
Great place for a large party! The floats were incredible. I was only there for one event. The cavernous space have people the chance to either rock out to the loud live music or find quieter spots to enjoy the fantastical, colorful, whimsical floats.
So much fun! Being able to see the size of these floats and the work that goes into them is amazing. They also tell you about the history of Mardi Gras which was really cool. There were a lot of things I didn't know about it.
