  • Don't let the outside fool you!! It looked a bit like a convenient store front, but WELL worth checking it out. It wasn't too busy, but I imagine it can be at times. Friendly staff and first responder friendly! The food looked and tasted great!! A good variety and the portions were decent and filling.

  • This place is very high, and food wasn't worth the price. Not to mention the employees all hanging around talking about their personal business. It was so bad that my family and I received the wrong order. They do not want personal contact by encouraging you to use the screen to place your order. As a person on the road, you don't want to waste time trying to figure out their system. They had the nerve to try to ignore you by talking with each other and looking away. Good service is hard to find. I forgot to mention that I was told that tall guy is the owner. Still haven't acknowledge the mess.

  • Everything is good. Don't go if you are hungry so many choices you buy more then you need. Service is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can get samples of food if you're not sure of the taste. No waiting!

  • Food is sooo good! I try to visit every time I'm in New Orleans. The drinks are delicious and can only find them there. I love the Po Boy! I get shrimp all dressed up. It's fresh, hot, and plenty! Highly recommend.

  • Melba's was the best!!! Was starving and out in Elysian Fields about 2 am... pouring rain...found by accident. Breakfast was stellar... good grits and selection of meat and other Louisiana specialties. Don't let the outside fool you. I cooked professionally and lived and worked in Louisiana for years. Many mornings I wake up and wish for Melba's!
