  • A couple of the toilets didn't flush. Sorry I used them. Everything else was pretty great. The chairs were a little small for my oversized booty but they were pretty comfortable. After sitting for several hours a day. I can still walk so that's a bonus. I liked the set up of the convention center. It was easy to navigate the many sets of stairs and escalators all room numbers were clearly marked. The food court leaves a lot to be desired but the outlet mall food court was not far away.

  • Large building runs about a block long. Clean, airy interior, up kept. Sections include cafe eatery a bit pricey as all of New Orleans I've encountered. While at a convention there the hotel buses were moved to the other end of the block unknown to the patrons. Running of the Bulls sprung up closing portions of the street. Some people weren't allowed to cross over to catch the bus, poor planning. Safety officers on site we're kind enough to direction my party to the new bus stand. Too many hotels have similar names which confuses people. Overall a nice presentation. Close walking distance to some area hotels, others had to board the bus. Parking ranges up to $40 a night at your own hotel!

  • I'll give New Orleans that this is a spacious, beautiful convention center. But the people staffing it can cause problems. I attended a conference here for an organization that, generally speaking, is full of forward-thinking individuals. We expect there to be easy-to-access non-gendered restrooms - and those were provided. But then convention center staff blocked those restrooms and would only allow certain people in.

  • Huge! We'll air-conditioned. They seem to be able to do it all. Starbucks Cafe is a nice amenity. Great location on the river and under the bridges. Easy to get in and out of.

  • I was at the convention center for a large conference. The staff was very friendly! The convention center is outdated in certain areas. It's HUGE though!!! Come wearing comfortable shoes! There are multiple levels with escalator access, but from end to end, the convention center is about 1/2 a mile in length. There's a food court and Starbucks in the middle portion of the convention center.
