  • Top festival in the City of New Orleans! Locals and people from around the world come to this fantastic festival of food, music, and culture each year. This festival is family-friendly and features top quality food and dishes that you can only get during jazz fest. One dish to get in the heat is a mango freeze, it will not disappoint and also supports public radio in New Orleans. Be sure to go to the small stages and see many local Acts in an intimate setting for a festival.

  • I love going here! I've attended 4 times. Be prepared for crowds, heat, and a few grumpy old people from Northern cities. Relax people, everyone is here to enjoy the music and get along. Also, the bathrooms in the grandstands have flush toilets and are clean because an attendant is on duty. Also the grand stand has AC if you need to escape the heat for a little while.

  • Great time during the day at the fairgrounds from about 10 a.m. until 7 pm. They have multiple stages and vendors inside along with musical tents showcasing different styles of New Orleans music. It's always fun to see a variety of attendees as well as amazing bands and excellent music!

  • Preeminent music festival in the US. Don't let the name mislead you. Jazz, yes, but blues, soul, reggae, R&B, Cajun, gospel, roots, rock, rap, hip hop, bounce... Just about every genre of American music is here. The food is incredible, too. Local restaurants and purveyors bring out their best dishes.

  • Jazz Fest is awesome! It should be a bucket list item for every person on the planet. Great music, great food, and all of the culture make this a must experience destination. If you can't find a good time at Jazz Fest, there is something seriously wrong with you! There are many genre of music to choose from (rock, pop, Zydeco, gospel, blues and jazz of all sorts). Art and culture are front and center. The food is amazing. JF does require a lot of walking and it can be quite hot so wear appropriate clothing and shoes. There will be large crowds of friendly fun seeking folks, so be prepared for that too...
