Spanish Plaza - Review
The Spanish Plaza was dedicated by Spain as a remembrance of their common historical past with the city of New Orleans and as a pledge of friendship in the future.
Located near the waterfront, the plaza offers a panoramic view of the Mississippi river. The central fountain adds to its beauty and often you will find locals as well as tourist taking a casual walk in the afternoons and evenings.
Exploring the nearby Aquarium of the Americas, Riverwalk Shopping Centre and the Harrah's casinois the highlight when you visit the plaza.

Spanish Plaza, New Orleans Reviews
This area is very scenic and a very good spot for some photos in front of the Mississippi River. There are usually a few local vendors around with food or souvenirs. There are also some panhandlers and or preforming artist so be aware you might be approached.
Very disappointed, nothing to see because it’s under construction. August 2018
Siper cool walk at the Mississippi River! Lots of boats you can hop on and go across
I used to do the lawn maintenance there. Beautiful. I've seen every inch of it. It's so historic and pretty. I have a garden full of lemon and lime trees that started as babies there. People throw their drinks out into the flower beds and you can find baby trees if you know what you're looking for. Great memories. Always left with a baby citrus tree and a snowball.
