The Spanish Plaza was dedicated by Spain as a remembrance of their common historical past with the city of New Orleans and as a pledge of friendship in the future.
Located near the waterfront, the plaza offers a panoramic view of the Mississippi river. The central fountain adds to its beauty and often you will find locals as well as tourist taking a casual walk in the afternoons and evenings.
Exploring the nearby Aquarium of the Americas, Riverwalk Shopping Centre and the Harrah's casinois the highlight when you visit the plaza.
