Sugar Mill Ruins Reviews & Ratings
We stayed at this location for bike week and couldn't have been more satisfied!! The staff were so nice, the grounds are nice amenities are good too. Love the pool and laundry areas. Very highly recommended.
We camped there for 3 nights. It was very nice. Spots are big and shaded. Pool was large and nice to swim in even though it was a little bit warm. The front desk staff where easy to work with and friendly. My daughter liked the play ground. And our dog liked the dog park.
Awesome campground with full service sites. Customer service is impeccable at the general store/check-in counter. I couldn't ask for a better 2 weeks in New Smyrna Beach.
We had a great time during our several day stay. Bathrooms were very clean, and showers were too. The pool was amazing! The tiki bar was an odd and uninviting set up, but that may have been because we went during the off season. It always looked closed up. The outdoor gaming areas were unkept and old, but somewhat usable still. The RV spaces were very small and cramped but it didn't matter much for us either way. The staff was always super friendly and accommodating. A very fun stay while visiting friends in New Smyrna Beach.
Well, I have had two experiences at this park. The first one was great no issues. The second one was terrible customer service. The first weekend I stayed in their tent site, but I sleep in my 2013 Prius. I have done this before in other places and its normally never an issue. My car is in great condition. I put blinds in all of the windows and sleep in the back. Most people don't even realize that I'm there. The second time I called to try to get a tent site again and was told that they weren't available. I called back again later to ask for a regular 30 amp spot. The women helping me interrupted me as I tried to ask for a regular spot. Very rude... she also said she knows what that is her brother has one and hung up on me before I could explain. I was told that I couldn't sleep in my car. Not sure why a Prius is treated any different then a van or anything else with a motor, but I won't be back. Side note; I'm a Florida Local who would have been regular business a couple times a month. As I travel and surf locally. This women in the office has been mentioned in other reviews. So I'm guessing that I'm not the first to have an issue.
