Alma has created a place for itself in the New York dining scene. Each of these three floors offer a different feel and are designed by the four different owners. Chef Gary Jacobson was heading this place ever since 2004; the year Alma was opened. Chef Francisco Lopez has ever since continued his tradition beautifully and till date the cuisine created here is memorable. The roof top deck is a highlight with the tourists for brunch and dinner throughout the year. The panoramic views of Manhattan along with heated deck in winters and fresh breeze in summers are unparalleled. Do not forget to catch the sunset from here as they are completely breath taking.

Alma Reviews & Ratings

  • Great views! Food is great but can be very spicy (for me) so just ask. Stairs to the roof can be rough for some people, but if you get up there, you can sit at the bar and watch the sunset. Accessible by the B61 bus!

  • The rooftop here has a wonderful view and the layout of the tables gives it a cozy feel. Went here for brunch and was impressed with menu. Service was fast and kind. Kind of off the beaten path a little though you can take the b61 bus to get here. If the front door is closed walk around the corner and there is another entrance.

  • I must say I really enjoyed this place.not just for the food and the scenery which were all good but for the service. Came in with our 1 year old and they were really accommodating and friendly. They got us a chair for him and new utensils quickly whenever he dropped any. Overall I really enjoyed the experience and will be sure to come back.

  • Went here for my boyfriend's birthday and had an amazing time. We didn't have to wait long at all. We were seated, but wanted a table with a view. I asked the waitress and she was so nice and gave us a table with a great view. The food was tasty and the service was great. We especially liked the lemonade and the ice cream. Will definitely come back in the summer.

  • Great friendly service and awesome location. Go for the views and the cocktails. Food lovely too!
