About Brooklyn Bridge, New York City
The bridge is one of the most famous and magnificent landmarks in New York. It connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. This is one of the greatest engineering feats of the 19th century.
The impressive bridge spans the east river between Brooklyn and Manhattan and stretches for a length of 5989 ft, about 1.8 km. The span between the large towers measures 1595.5 ft (486 meters). This made the Brooklyn Bridge one of the world's largest suspension bridges.
The two masonry towers, which the many cables are attached, are the most noticeable feature of the Bridge. It also offers a great view of the bridge's towers. For visitors, it is one of the best and convenient places to visit in New York. It would take a few minutes from the center of the city to reach the place.
An elevated pedestrian path not only gives you the opportunity to cross the river without being bothered by the traffic that rushes past a level below, but it also offers a great view of the bridge's towers as well as downtown Manhattan's skyline. The views alone attract millions of visitors to this bridge each year. Brooklyn Bridge is one of the tourist attractions in 3 day New York City Itinerary and 7 days in NYC trip plan. At this time more than half the park is complete and the transformation of the space is be stellar. Earlier those week I explored the nature walk near pier one. They did a great job of making it seems like you are no longer in the city, especially considering the limited amount of space. The views of the harbor and lower Manhattan are breathtaking. Most of the park is designed to highlight these views. Most of the piers have been built out and have sporting facilities. There are also several permanent restaurants within the park. I only wish there were more great lawn areas that provide shade.

It is a must!!! The history of the bridge is magnificent. Lots of stories around it and it's builders. We started from the NYC side and moved to Brooklyn side. Please be careful, there are a lot of bicycles riding there. It was a hot day, but still it was windy in most of the parts. You cannot skip this attraction, there is a great view on NYC from this bridge. I was on the bridge in daylight, please try to see it in the evening as well, to see all theights6of NYC. The photographers, do not forget to bring your tripods with you.
A must-visit during any trip to Lower Manhattan. Great views, amazing architecture, easy walk across. Fun listening to all the different languages you hear people speaking - a true example of the melting pot in which we live. Pro Tip: watch out for the cyclists, stay OUT OF THEIR LANE, they really FLY on the downhill sections. I shot this photo during the 2014 Worldwide Photowalk using a neutral-density filter and a 30 second exposure. Came out pretty interesting, I think.
I've visited a ton and even lived in NY for s short time. But I'd never made it to this bridge. In my last trip, I finally decided to walk across. We were already near it on the Manhattan side. And I'd eaten a ton of delicious food I needed to walk off. This was the perfect trip! It was pretty crowded at about 3p on a Tuesday in mid July. Everyone one else wants to stop at that same places to take the same pictures that you want to take. But if you're patient, it all works out. Just be careful of the people on bikes zooming by!
